The present terms and conditions of sale are applicable with the exception of all other conditions, notably those in force for sales carried out on Domaine Edmond RENTZ Limited’s premises.

Orders carried out via the intermediary of the web-site EDMONDRENTZ.COM are conditioned by the present general terms and conditions.


Article 1 – Order Validation

By the validation of your order, you hereby declare that you have read and accepted the present General Terms and Conditions of Sale.


Article 2 – Price

The prices displayed on the EDMONDRENTZ.COM web-site are quoted in Euros, all tax included (notably VAT and other applicable taxes) with delivery to mainland France, excluding Corscia. With 300€ worth of purchases, delivery in mainland France, excluding Corscia, is free of charge. Under 300€ worth of purchases, a payment of 20€ to cover shipping fees will be added.

For deliveries to Germany, Belgium, Italy or Luxembourg, other terms and conditions apply namely: Possibility to ship a maximum of 12 bottles to a single shipping address, with a payment of 40€ to cover shipping fees.

Domaine Edmond RENTZ Limited reserves the right to modify its prices at any time. Orders will be invoiced on the basis of prices in force at the moment of the validation of your order on the web-site EDMONDRENTZ.COM.


Article 3 – Delivery

Delivery times may vary according to distance between 5 to 10 working days.

The products will be delivered to a single shipping address indicated during the ordering process. In the event of an incorrect shipping address being provided, an additional shipping fee will be charged.

The customer is responsible for verifying the state of the packaging of the goods and the goods themselves. Any complaint relating to breakage, loss or theft of part or all of a delivery, must be lodged with the transporter, via a detailed note on the delivery form, at the moment of delivery and notified to us by letter, telephone or email within 48 hours. After approval from ourselves, the missing or damaged goods will be replaced free of charge.

The signing of the delivery receipt will constitute acceptance by the customer.

Delivery delay: Except for reasons beyond our control, we will not be held liable for any losses, damages, delivery errors or failures to deliver. It is expressly stated that this includes fortuitous events or force majeure such as strikes, earthquakes, cyclones, storms, flooding, wars and different variations of accidents. Are also included all acts of negligence and failings by any third parties.


Article 4 – Payment Terms

Domaine Edmond RENTZ Limited has adopted the most advance encoding processes in order to guarantee maximum payment security on the EDMONDRENTZ.COM web-site. All personal and banking data collected during the payment process on the EDMONDRENTZ.COM web-site will be rendered absolutely inaccessible using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption.

You can pay for purchases on our web-site (EDMONDRENTZ.COM) in the following ways:

  • Credit cards excluding American Express

IMPORTANT: Your credit card number will appear in its entirety when you enter the text into the relevant field but only the last 5 digits will be visible on your account whilst the others will be hidden for security reasons.

  • Bank cheque

The cheque must be issued from a bank domiciled in mainland France or Monaco. Please send your cheque, accompanied by a copy of your order confirmation email or on-screen order summary, within two days following the validation of your order to the following address: Domaine Edmond RENTZ – 7 route du Vin – 68340 Zellenberg (France).


Article 5 – Availability of Goods

In the event of unavailability of a product after placing an order, we will inform the client by email. In the event of a stock storage on the wine ordered, Domaine Edmond RENTZ Limited will inform the client as soon as possible. In agreement with the customer, Domaine Edmond RENTZ Limited will offer to replace the out of stock vintage by another vintage or product of equivalent value.


Article 6 – Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with the dispositions outlined in article L.121-21 of the French Consumer Code, the customer has 14 days from the date of receipt of our products to exercise his right to withdraw from Domaine Edmond RENTZ Limited without having to provide any reasons or incurring penalties.

In the event of where the customer decides to exercise his withdrawal right within the allotted withdrawal period, only the price of the product(s) bought and shipping charges will need to be reimbursed. The cost of the return postage remains at the customer’s charge.

Returns must be sent in their original state and complete (packaging, protections, etc.).

Article 7 – Child Protection

Ordonnance Nr. 59-107 of 7 January 1959 and Law Nr. 74-631 of 5 July 1974 prohibit the sale and promotion of alcoholic beverages to minors and similar categories. Therefore, when completing an order form, the customer recognises having the legal capacity to commit to the present contract.


Article 8 – Reservation of Ownership

The goods remain the property of Domaine Edmond RENTZ Limited until full payment of invoice, in accordance with the dispositions outlined with Law Nr. 80-336 of 1 May 1980 with regards to reservation of ownership.


Article 9 -Applicable Legislation

The contractual provisions set out about are governed by French law. Our customer service is at your disposal with regards to the settling of disputes. In the absence of an amicable solution, the Courts of Colmar alone will have jurisdiction.


Article 10 – Applicable Language

The controlling language for these Terms and Conditions of Sale is French.
